One person killed, two others injured in firing incident

One person was killed and two others were injured when two groups allegedly clashed this evening at Hasanbagh area, in the eastern part of the city, the police said here tonight.

The deceased has been identifid as Jafer Ali Ramzan Ali, while the identities of two seriously injured people could be established immediately.

Those injured were rushed to a private nursing home on the busy commercial area in Central Avenue, Gandhibagh, the police said.

Top police officials have rushed to the spot and are investigating the incident.
