ONGC today lifted the PSG Trophy by beating Tamil Nadu State team 84-72 in the finals of 52nd All India Basket Ball Championship, which concluded here.
ONGC led 45-37 at half time. Riyazuddin scored 26 points, Vishesh Bhrighvanshi 18 and Amrit Pal Singh 16 for the winners, while Sivabalan 22, Jeevananthan 18 and Aravind 13 played well for the losers.
Besides trophy, the winners got Rs 1 lakh and the runners Rs 50,000, while the semi-finalists Vijaya Bank and Income Tax were given Rs 15,000 each.
