Brass, zinc and copper utensils scrap prices edged up in an otherwise largely mixed non- ferrous metal market here today on bouts of stockists buying amid mild demand from industrial users.
Meanwhile, select copper and nickel fell on lower demand from consumer as well as alloy industries.
Globally, zinc rallied to a fresh 17-month high in early trade in Asia, playing catch-up to overseas prices that have rallied on prospects of dwindling mine supply.

Copper utensils scrap, brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cutting and zinc all inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 450, Rs 337, Rs 355 and Rs 190 respectively.
Owever, nickel dropped by Rs 8 per kg to Rs 1,240 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,248 and copper armature declined by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 471 from Rs 474.
Copper scrap heavy moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 485 compared to Rs 487 previously.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 494 and Rs 522.
