A court here today convicted seven persons to life imprisonment after finding them guilty of the murder of a man nearly four years ago.
Additional District Judge-I Kishore Kumar Sinha convicted the seven accused for the murder of Pramod Baitha in Goha Basdevpur village on January 17, 2013.
The seven are Arun Baitha, Ajay Baitha, Pappu Baitha, Bablu Baitha, Sudhir Baitha, Subodh Baitha and Saroj Baitha.
Personal enmity was stated to be the motive behind the murder of Baitha.
Baitha was attacked with sharp objects by the convicted and he had died on the spot.
Victim's kin Phukti Baitha had lodged an FIR against the seven persons charging them with the murder of Pramod Baitha.
