Small sugar prices dropped at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to lack of demand from bulk consumers amid heavy selling by millers.
Elsewhere, medium sugar variety finished mixed owing to uneven demand and supply.
Small sugar (S-30) was declined by Rs 28/1 per quintal to Rs 2,572/2,721 per quintal from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 2,600/2,722.
Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 2,696/2,902 as against to Rs 2,700/2,892.

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,696/2,902 (Rs 2,700/2,892.
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,572/2,721 (Rs 2,600/2,722).
