Small sugar eases on poor demand

Small sugar eased further at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to poor demand from stockists and bulk consumers.

While, medium sugar prices ruled stable in the absence of any large scale buying activity.

Small sugar (S-30) slid by Rs 6 per quintal to Rs 2,126/2,222 from tuesday's closing level of Rs 2,132/2,222.

Medium sugar (M-30) closed unchanged at Rs 2,242/2,392.

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,242/2,392 (Rs 2,242/2,392).

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,126/2,222 (Rs 2,132/2,222).
