Small sugar prices moved up in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi wholesale market here today on mild offtake from stockists and bulk consumers.
Medium sugar ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Small sugar (S-30) gained by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 3,876/3,935 from Monday's closing level of Rs 3,872/3,935.
Medium sugar (M-30) held steady at Rs 3,916/3,935 per quintal.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,876/3,935 (Rs 3,872/3,935).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,916/4,092 (Rs 3,916/4,092).
