Small sugar recovers in listless trade

Small sugar prices recovered slightly in an otherwise listless Vashi wholesale market here today following fresh demand from stockists and bulk consumers.

While, medium sugar held stable in absence of any other large-scale buying activity.

Small sugar (S-30) edged up by Rs 2 per quintal to Rs 3,542/3,751 from Wednesday's level Rs 3,540/3,751.

Medium sugar (M-30) closed unchanged at Rs 3,632/3,892 per quintal.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,542/3,751 (Rs 3,540/3,751).
