Small sugar firms up in listless trade

Small sugar prices firmed up in an otherwise listless at the Vashi wholesale market here today on good demand from stockists and bulk consumers.

While, medium sugar ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying activity.

Small sugar (S-30) gained by Rs 9 per quintal to Rs 3,670/3,780 from Thursday's level of Rs 3,670/3,771.

Medium sugar (M-30) closed unchanged at Rs 3,736/3,882.
