Southern Railway adds extra coaches

In order to clear the extra rush of passengers, Southern Railway would add one airconditioned three-tier coach on the Tirunelveli-Dadar-Tirunelveli Weekly Express trains with immediate effect.

On the Rameswaram-Chennai Egmore-Rameswaram Express Trains, one second class sitting coach will be augmented, Southern Railway said in an official release here.

Chennai-Trivandrum-Chennai Anantapuri Express trains would be augmented by one second class sitting coach with immediate effect.

It also said the cancellation of Palani-Dindigul-Palani Passenger train have been further extended for another three months.
