Sugar ends steady on small buying

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale sugar market in national capital today on some buying support from bulk consumers.

Marketmen said scattered buying support against ample supplies mainly held prices unmoved.

Following are today's quotations per quintal:

Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,250-3,440; S-30 Rs 3,230-3,420.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,120-3,275; S-30 Rs 3,100-3255.

Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,165; Kinnoni 3,275; Asmoli 3,250; Dorala 3,190; Budhana 3,160; Thanabhavan 3,150; Dhanora 3,160; Simbholi 3,270; Modi Nagar Rs 3,160; Khatuli 3,230; Dhampur 3,130; Ramala 3,150; Bulandshar 3,140; Anupshar 3,130; Baghpat 3,160; Morna 3,150; Sakoti 3,140; Chandpur 3,130 and Nazibabad 3,140.
