A delegation of auto and taxi unions today demanded a ban on all the app-based taxi operators in the national capital.
A delegation of Delhi Autorickshaw Sangh and Delhi Pradesh Taxi Union met transport joint commissioner Anand Tiwari and sought action against these taxi operators.
"Taxis run by app-based operators do not follow traffic rules. There are several such operators which have recently been banned by the government, but despite that they are doing their business," Rajendra Soni, general secretary of Delhi Pradesh Taxi Union, said.
