Three shot at in Khatauli in UP

Three persons, including a 65-year-old trader, were shot at by four unidentified miscreants at Khatauli town in the district, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when the trader Dharmender Mittal, his 45-year-old son Vikas and their helper Amit were at their shop.

Four bike-borne miscreants came and fired shots at them, injuring the three, police said.

The injured were rushed to a hospital in serious condition.

The reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, they said.

A case has been registered, police said, adding efforts were on to nab the accused.
