Tiger cub dies

A leopard cub was found dead in

old Valparai in the district, Forest Depatment officials today said.

It was suspected that it died after hit by a speeding vehicle.

The body of one and half year old leopard was noticed around six am by some passersby and immediately informed forest department officials.

Department veterinarian carried out post mortem and the carcass was burnt inside Wildlife Rescue Centre, they said.
