Telangana energy minister Jagdish Reddy dismissed reports of his party Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) joining hands with the NDA here today.
"We never had any thought about joining the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government at the Centre. These (such reports) are all baseless rumours. So far there is no such intention to join the NDA government," Reddy told reporters.
Replying to a query, he said that the Centre should always support state governments regardless of the political party in power.
Earlier, Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu had also denied reports that the TRS held talks with top BJP leaders about joining the NDA government.
