Two arrested for robbing mobile phone

Two men have been arrested for allegedly robbing people of their in separate incidents in Amar Colony, police said today.

Police claimed to have solved eight cases of robbery and snatching with their arrest.

The accused have been identified as (22) and Sarvesh Saxena (23), residents of Tughlakabad Extension in Govind Puri, they said.

The victim said that he was returning after having dinner when two men snatched his and ran away towards the park opposite to the ISCKON temple, police said.

During interrogation, the accused disclosed that he, along with his associate Saxena, used to rob and other belongings of the victims.

The accused further disclosed that they would sell those to passersby at throwaway prices to meet their needs of liquor and ganja.
