Two minor brothers today drowned in Sukni river in a village near here, police said.
Himanshu (4) and Prince (2), sons of one Chintu Prajapati, drowned while they were playing in the river water at Abgaon village, about 7 kms from here, Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Vinod Shrivastava said.
The bodies were later fished out of the river and sent to the district hospital for post-mortem.
Chintu runs a brick kiln near Sukni village, the police official said.
A case has been registered and further investigation is on, he added.
