Two sisters were killed today in a road accident on Sasaram-Ara road near Tenduni Chowk in Bihar's Rohtas district, a police officer said.
The incident took place as a speeding truck rammed into a bike with three occupants, two of whom were siblings, the officer said.
The sisters died on the spot but the man riding the two-wheeler had a miraculous escape, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Neeraj Kumar Sinha said.

The victims were identified as Sangita Devi (32) and her younger sister Kusum Devi (30), natives of Basantpur village, he said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
The truck driver escaped with his vehicle, Sinha said.
