Two women commit suicide in separate incidents in the city

: Unable to bear health related problems, two women committed suicide by hanging in separate incidents in the city.

In the first case, Chitra (36) suffering from acute tooth ache and under treatment in a private hospital committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling of her house in Kannappan Nagar today, they said.

In the second incident, a thyroid patient Yashoda (30) wife of a daily wage worker, comitted suicide at her home in Ratnapuri yesterday evening when her parents were away.

On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, they said.

A probe is on into both incidents, police added.
