A team of Uttar Pradesh Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) and National Investigation Agency (NIA) today arrested four persons allegedly involved in illicit arms trade in the state.
The team arrested four persons - Arvind Kumar Pandey, Vishal, Shyam Mohan and Kiran Devi - near gate of KKV Degree college this morning, IG, Public Grievances, AM Jain told reporters.
The team recovered 11 pistols, 21 magazines, a number of cartridges of .32 bore and a vehicle from their possession, he said.

During interrogation, it was revealed that Arvind used to bring pistols from Munger (Bihar) for Rs 25,000 and used to sell it in the state at Rs 50,000 with two magazines.
Presently, Arvind is living with Kiran as husband and wife and used to supply consignments together, he said.
