A widow was allegedly raped by
a 52-year-old man in Chandinagar area here, police said today.
The victim (48) was raped by one Islam when she took her cattle for grazing in the nearby forest yesterday, they said.
On a complaint of the victim's family, an FIR has been lodged against the accused, who is absconding, a police official said.
Medical examination of the woman has been conducted and its result is awaited, the official said.
