Woman held for murdering mother-in-law in Punjab

A 30-year-old woman was arrested by police on the charges of murdering her mother-in-law at Vidhi Chand Colony here.

Sadhma had allegedly murdered her mother-in-law Sabri Khatoon (50) at Vidhi Chand Colony last week over a family dispute, police said.

The accused then said that her mother-in-law was murdered by two unidentified persons, they said.

During interrogation Sadhma confessed to her crime and was arrested, police said.
