Suzlon wins orders for 150 MW wind projects

Suzlon Group has been awarded orders for wind projects having a combined capacity of 150 MW. This combined capacity includes orders from corporate houses such as Malpani Group, Rajasthan Gum Group, KRBL, Sterling Agro Group and an assortment of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The 150 MW order received is a significant development since it demonstrates renewed customer interest to harness wind energy post the reinstatement of Accelerated Depreciation (AD) policy by the Government of India. The projects are scheduled for execution across eight states - Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Kerala - in India with high wind potential.
 
Suzlon will supply its robust multi-megawatt S97-90m WTGs and will leverage on its turnkey wind solutions expertise to oversee the project operations from start to end. The innovative S97- 90m product portfolio is designed to harness the optimal available wind resources and deliver higher energy, productivity, improved serviceability which in turn ensures higher ROI to customers.
 
While Suzlon bagged repeat orders from our existing customers - Malpani Group, Rajasthan Gum Group, KRBL Group, and Sterling Agro Group, it was awarded a new project by customers in the SME sector to offer customised solutions across regions.

Among others, the company has won KRBL Ltd's order for a 23.10-MW project in Maharashtra and Malpani Group’s contract for a 29.4-MW plant in Madhya Pradesh.
