Former Managing Director Of Shriram Housing Finance Limited, Sujan Sinha Appointed As Non-Executive Non Independent Director Of Mangal Credit And Fincorp Limited

India, 20th November 2020 – Mangal Credit and Fincorp Limited (MCFL), a leading non-banking financial company (NBFC) has announced the appointment of Mr. Sujan Sinha as Non-Executive Non Independent Director and Mr. Sriram Sankaranaryanan as Additional Director Independent Director of the company.
The NBFC promoted by industry veteran Mr. Meghraj Jain recently forayed into the loan against gold and diamond jewellery market with the launch of its’ maiden retail branch in the Mumbai suburbs that has clocked in over INR 10 crores in revenue in a span of 2 months.
Mr. Sujan Sinha is a senior finance professional and has experience of nearly four decades with leading banks and NBFCs. He enjoys a strong background across perse leadership functions – finance, regulatory affairs, legal, risk management, underwriting, policies and processes, operations, segment profitability, mergers & acquisitions, mortgages, taxation and budgetary controls of large and renowned publicly listed companies. A graduate in Geology from Calcutta University, he was previously associated in leadership roles with Usha Martin Group, State Bank Of India, Axis Bank and Shriram Housing Finance Limited.
In this newly appointed role, Mr. Sujan Sinha will drive finance and strategic initiatives of Mangal Credit And Fincorp Limited and will contribute to future growth opportunities. Mr. Sujan Sinha states, “It is indeed a privilege to be associated with MCFL and work with the hugely committed and diligent leadership team. MCFL has been around for quite some time, but is now being recast in a new avatar. I am, personally, looking forward to be a part of this change and shall endeavor to contribute in its success.”
A chartered accountant by qualification, Mr. Sriram Sankaranaryanan has previously been employed at Hindustan Unilever and was the former Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technology Officer of India Infoline Group. He was instrumental in developing the online trading software and infrastructure at India Infoline. He enjoys three decades plus wide-ranging experience in finance, accounting, equity/sector research, information technology and management. Shares of Mangal Credit And Fincorp Limited were last trading in BSE at Rs.58 as compared to half yearly close of Rs. 36.
