This Odisha-based IT Startup has grown from NIL to 3 Crores Revenue in just 3 Years.

23 years old Ashutosh Mohapatra with the support of two directors Itishree Paramita Sahoo & Hrushikesh Mohapatra founded SearchingYard, An IT Start-up in 2017 in 4 corners of a room which got incorporated in 2018. SearchingYard Software Pvt Ltd is a Hybrid Concept IT Company which is a both Product & Service Based Company.

How It Started?

Ashutosh Mohapatra was still doing his graduation when he got the idea of starting his own IT start-up. He got the inspiration from his own struggles that he faced during his graduation days that many skilled students are not able to get the best employment opportunities due to poor financial condition, which he planned to eradicate by somehow himself by starting his own organization where many talented students will get hired easily & get the employment opportunity. It initially started with small projects which he & 3 more friends were doing by themselves. The start-up started with nearly nil investment. The initial days were full of struggles & a lot of hard work for him. At day time he was doing multiple meetings of local clients by pitching them face to face & at night times the team was working on the projects. 

How it’s going now?

The start-up “SearchingYard Software Pvt Ltd” which Ashutosh Mohapatra started in 2017 has now completed successfully 3 years of service. The initial team which started with only 4 members has now raised to 40+ experienced team members which is led by Abhilash Jena, Chief Operating Officer and Ashirbad Panigrahi, Team Lead. The whole SearchingYard team is comprised of young workforce who got trained on multiple latest technologies by the company only & the whole team now represent the company in the most progressive way. All of the team members are from middle class or lower middle class family with no business background who have gained the skill needed & are working tirelessly. The company which started with small & local projects is now working on 100s of international projects among which more than 60% are very large scale projects. The company which started its journey with nearly zero investment & very little revenue has now became a 3 crore revenue generating company. SearchingYard now has 5 offices worldwide with headquarter in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, other 4 offices are in USA, UAE, Australia & Zambia. SearchingYard provides wide range of services which includes Website design & development, app development, custom software development, AI & ML implementation, AR & VR implementation, Cloud Computing, SAP & many more. As they are a hybrid concept company so beyond providing services they have developed many next level products for various industries which have started occupying a large part of the market, some of their famous products includes “EXPOSIUM” which is an All-In-One Virtual Event Platform, till now more than 200 virtual events have been conducted on their EXPOSIUM platform with clients from worldwide. To name another piece of product which is bringing revolution in the Hospitality Industry is “YARDHOTEL” which is an All-In-One solution for stay, tour & travels. Under their YARDHOTEL, many reputed Hotel Chains & big names in Travel Industry have partnered with to provide the best of services to customers. Last but not least the product which have the capability of revolutionizing the whole healthcare industry goes by the name “YARDHEALTH” which has the strength of bringing the whole healthcare community & patients into one platform in-order to make it super comfortable & easy to receive the health services by the patients. SearchingYard has the goal of growing its current annual revenue 2x to 6 crore the next year with the planning of expanding its office chain to more countries. The company has also started a campaign “GO DIGITAL 2022 WITH SEARCHINGYARD” with the goal to provide the best of IT services focused on Cloud Based Application (Web App & Mobile App) and iOT (Industrial iOT, Healthcare iOT, Consumer iOT) for all start-ups & the existing Enterprise Industries who want to go digital. SearchingYard also has the goal to setup an educational institution where those students who are from financially backward classes will get trained as per industry level so that they can easily gain the skill needed to get a good job opportunity in IT industry.

The mail goal of the founder is to build a successful 1st Generation Company which will help to generate a lot of employment opportunities which will help to mitigate the unemployment issue in our country to some extent.
