Centre approves increasing strength of SC judges from 30 to 33

New Delhi, July 31 (ANI): Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar said on Wednesday that the Centre has approved increasing strength of Supreme Court judges from 30 to 33. "In 2016, the number of judges has been increased from 30 to 33 in Supreme Court" said Prakash Javadekar in a press conference. Once Parliament gives approval to the bill, the apex court will have a sanctioned strength of 34, including the CJI.
