Hindus make vermicelli in Varanasi for consumption in Ramadan, Eid

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Jun 02 (ANI): Demand for vermicelli has increased in the month of Ramadan. People from Hindu community make traditional vermicelli for consumption in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi. As the festival of Eid is nearing, the production has increased. During the ongoing sacred month of Ramadan, Muslims observe fast from dawn to dusk for about 30 days. They eat 'sehri' (a pre-dawn meal) and break their day-long fast with 'iftar' in the evening.
