Indo-Nepal border put on high alert due to coronavirus

Banbasa (Uttarakhand), Jan 28 (ANI): The state governments of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal along the Indo-Nepal border have deployed medical teams at various entry points as precautionary measure against coronavirus. All the districts sharing borders with Nepal are on alert. Coronaviruses (nCoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans. Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. While speaking to ANI, Dr Arif Khan said, "Earlier also, coronavirus was involved in the human infections and diseases like common cold, cough, mild fever are found in human body.
