Ludhiana farmers face problems as labourers return to their hometowns amid lockdown

Ludhiana (Punjab), May 03(ANI): Amid corona outbreak and nationwide lockdown, farmers in Ludhiana are facing problems as labourers are leaving for their hometowns in other states. One of the vegetable farmers said, "Our vegetables are rotting as mandis are closed, government should open the mandis and they should provide us with labourers. Our labourers have left for their hometown therefore we are facing lot of problems in plucking vegetables."
