Statement of P Chidambaram on Article 370 is provocative: RS Prasad

Patna (Bihar), Aug 12 (ANI): P Chidambaram on August 11 said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would not have 'snatched away' the special status from Jammu and Kashmir if it had been a Hindu-dominated state. While speaking to ANI on the subject, Union law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, "This statement of P Chidambaram is very irresponsible as it is a very provocative statement. Isn't this a fact that in last 70 years, thousands of people have been killed in Kashmir in which Muslims are also included?" "The decision of scrapping Article 370 is in the benefit of people and development of the country," he added.
