Sunny Deol files nomination from Punjab's Gurdaspur

Gurdaspur (Punjab): Actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol files his nomination as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Punjab's Gurdaspur parliamentary constituency on Monday. He was accompanied by his brother Bobby Deol. Sunny faces tough competition from Congress' candidate and sitting MP Sunil Jakhar, who is also the Punjab's Congress president. Punjab is going to poll in the last phase of the election, which is going to be held on May 19.
