WB research institute develops robotic device to mitigate COVID risk

Durgapur (West Bengal), Apr 30 (ANI): At a time when doctors and other health care staff at hospitals are prone to coronavirus infection, a robotic device in West Bengal comes to their rescue. CSIR- Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute has developed low-cost robotic device to mitigate the risk. The robotic device can also collect test samples and deliver medicines to patients. The device also has a video conferencing for contactless monitoring of admitted COVID-19 patients.
