Electric two-wheeler maker Ather Energy Ltd on Friday said it has mobilised Rs 1,340 crore from anchor investors days ahead of the launch of its initial share sale for public subscription.
The Ather Energy IPO opens for public subscription on April 28.
Some of the key anchor investors who were allocated shares include Custody Bank of Japan, Franklin Templeton, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Eastspring Investments, Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Societe Generale.
PSBI Mutual Fund (MF), Aditya Birla Sun Life MF, ICICI Prudential MF, Invesco MF, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, ITI MF and Union MF are among the anchor investors.
According to a circular uploaded on BSE's website, the electric two-wheeler maker has allotted 4.17 crore shares to 36 funds at Rs 321 apiece, which is also the upper end of the price band. This aggregates the transaction size to Rs 1,340 crore.

JioStar, the joint venture created after the merger of the media business of Reliance and the India business of global media giant Walt Disney, on Friday reported revenues of Rs 10,006 crore with pre-tax earnings of Rs 774 crore.
JioHotstar, which was launched after the merger of two leading OTT platforms JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar on February 14, 2025, crossed 100 million paid user milestone within five weeks, according to earnings statement from Realiance Industries.
"JioHotstar served 503 million MAUs (monthly active users) in the month of Mar '25 driven by key sporting events such as ICC Champions Trophy, IPL and India's largest digital content library of greater than 320K hours," it said.
JioStar's linear TV network occupied 34 per cent of the market share across TV entertainment and reached over 760 million monthly viewers across the country.

Around 61 per cent of Indians who participated in a survey shared that they stopped pursuing a professional or creative goal after facing hurdles, a Google and Kantar report said on Friday.
The study was conducted to understand Gen AI adoption, potential, and impact among people in India in which over 8,000 people across 18 cities covered.
"Common roadblocks often prevent progress, such as simply getting started, a struggle for 68 per cent or lacking necessary skills and guidance, which holds back 52 per cent. These aren't minor frustrations; they can sometimes have real costs, often stopping people from pursuing goals altogether, with 61 per cent of Indians reporting they abandoned a professional or creative aspiration due to such hurdles," the report said.
The study found that while AI excitement is high, it's still early days for adoption.
According to the 60 per cent that were covered in study aren't familiar with AI, and only 31 per cent have tried any Generative AI tool.

The NIA has conducted extensive searches at multiple locations across Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and other states in a case linked to Pakistan-backed cross-border smuggling of arms and narcotics by Khalistani operatives, the agency said Friday.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Friday presented a Rs 40,187 crore-budget for the megapolis.
Infrastructure spends across projects have been pegged at Rs 35,151 crore or 87 per cent of the overall expenditure, as per an official statement. The revenues have been estimated at Rs 36,939 crore, and the body chaired by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will be borrowing Rs 22,000 crore.
This will result in a budget deficit of Rs 3,249 crore, which the body plans to bridge through land sales, issuance of bonds, financial assistance from the government, and loans from financial institutions, the statement said.

The Rajya Sabha on Thursday returned the Finance Bill 2025 to the Lok Sabha, along with 35 government amendments, including one that abolishes a 6 per cent digital tax on online advertisements, thus completing the 2025-26 budgetary exercise that started on February 1.
The House also returned the Appropriation Bill (3) with a voice vote.
Earlier in the day, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had moved the two bills in the House.
The Lok Sabha had passed the Finance Bill on March 25 and passed the Appropriation Bill on March 21.
