Modi-Cameron discussed 'counter terrorism, climate change': MEA

London, Nov 13 (ANI): The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) briefed about the engagements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the first day of his UK visit. MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said that discussions between Modi and his British counterpart David Cameron touched upon issues like security, defence, counter-terrorism and climate change. Swarup said both nations will invest in infrastructure and promote manufacturing, including in areas of advanced technologies, with the lightest possible footprint on earth. He said that both governments will work together towards progress and transforming the lives of people in both countries. MEA has also said that Modi's visit to the UK has set on course the relations between the two countries to become a leading global partnership.
