Protests against local elections intensified in Madhes

Birgunj, Nepal, April 20 (ANI): Widespread protests against the conduct of local level elections have been launched by the Madhesi Morcha.Hundreds of protesters gathered today for a Lathi procession and chanted slogans against the government and Election Commission for not rolling back the dates of elections.There seems to be no possibility of smooth conduct of elections with disgruntled parties intensifying their campaign every single day. However, the government has assured that they will successfully conduct these elections.
