Seven Italian nationals among Dhaka restaurant hostages

Bangladesh (Dhaka), July 02 (ANI): Seven Italian nationals are thought to be among the hostages taken by gunmen, who stormed a restaurant popular with foreigners in the diplomatic quarter of the Dhaka on Friday. Security personnel say they hope for a peaceful outcome to the hostage situation after the gunmen took about 20 people in hostage, including several foreigners, in an attack claimed by Islamic State.
