Two Indian-origin boys tie for Scripps National Spelling Bee championship trophy

United States, May 30 (ANI): Two Indian-origin boys have been crowned the co-winners of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. For the first time in 52 years, two spellers have been declared co-champions. Sriram Hathwar, 14, of Painted Post, New York, and Ansun Sujoe , 13, of Fort Worth, Texas, shared the title after they spelled a dozen words correctly in a row. They were declared co-champions by judges after six rounds of face-to-face duelling.
