ISL 7: High flying ATK Mohun Bagan aim for top spot against Chennaiyin FC

High on confidence after their wins over bigwigs FC Goa and Bengaluru FC, ATK Mohun Bagan will look to make a hattrick of wins when they face Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League here on Tuesday. ATK had won against the same side in the ISL summit clash to clinch a record third title before merging with Indian heavyweights Mohun Bagan. The Mariners will be heading into the match after a good break of 10 days as Lopez's boys would enjoy fresh legs over their opponents from Chennai who looked profligate to settle for a 2-2 draw against struggling SC East Bengal in their last match. A win for ATK Mohun Bagan will take the Kolkata heavyweights to the top of the table ahead of the New Year as the key for the Habas-coached side would be to guard complacency. To their advantage, ATKMB's talismanic striker David Williams, who was battling injury issues, opened his account with a peach of a goal against Bengaluru FC in their previous match. ISL 2020-21: Vicuna's changes work as Kerala Blasters grab first win

Kerala Blasters dished out an impressive performance as they beat Hyderabad FC 2-0 to secure their first win in the ongoing Indian Super League here on Sunday. Abdul Hakku's header (29th minute) put Kerala ahead before Jordan Murray (88th) sealed three points for Kibu Vicuna's side. Vicuna rang in five changes to the side that drew against SC East Bengal while Hyderabad made two changes with Liston Colaco returning to the starting eleven. Both the sides created chances in the first half but it was Kerala who headed into the break with a goal lead. Kerala started on a bright note and had a chance to break the deadlock early on when an error from Asish Rai got Hyderabad in trouble. Sahal pounced on Rai's poor touch and squared the ball but Odei Onaindia thwarted the danger with a vital tackle. Hyderabad too created a few half-chances with Aridane Santana failing to take them. Both the sides fought neck-and-neck but Kerala grabbed the opener just before the half-hour mark through a .

ISL 7: Kerala Blasters target first win, Hyderabad FC look to bounce back

Still chasing their first victory of the season, Kerala Blasters need to be more attacking when they clash with Hyderabad FC in an Indian Super League match at the GMC Stadium here on Sunday. Both sides have played six matches so far with seventh-placed Hyderabad FC sitting just two places above Kerala Blasters on the table, but with a difference of six points. While Kerala have suffered three defeats, the Nizams saw their unbeaten streak end in their previous game against Mumbai City. Although conceding goals has been an issue plaguing Kerala Blasters since the start of the season, their attack is also yet to click. They have attempted just 54 shots in the season so far -- the lowest by a team -- and have also created the least chances per 90 minutes. Kerala Blasters head coach Kibu Vicuna expects his side to make improvements but knows they won't have it easy against Hyderabad. "Every game is difficult. Hyderabad had positives in the last match (against Mumbai). They didn't play

It was East Bengal's third draw (to go with four defeats) as victory eluded them again.
