India should show its glorious way of life to world: RSS chief Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has said it is India's prime responsibility to present its glorious way of life to the world so that others can follow and attain happiness and prosperity. Dharma, which is the foundation of everyone's life, must be preserved and awakened as per the changing times, he further said. The essence of Indian ethos lies in ensuring the well-being of all, Bhagwat said at the inauguration of the Moraya Gosavi Sanjivan Samadhi ceremony in Pimpri Chinchwad industrial township near Maharashtra's Pune city on Tuesday. "It is everyone's responsibility to maintain balance and patience to ensure the smooth functioning of the world order. In Indian culture, there has always been a tradition of returning to nature. In today's terms, this can be described as 'giving back'," he said. "The structure of our dharma is built on this principle of 'giving back'. Our ancestors recognised and practised it as nature itself works on this aspect," Bhagwat ..

Keep ego at bay or one may fall into a hole: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has said one should keep ego at bay or else he or she may fall into a hole. Selfless service takes place when one identifies enduring happiness and satisfaction, which also increases the tendency to help others, he said. Speaking at the valedictory silver jubilee function of Bharat Vikas Parishad's Viklang Kendra in Maharashtra's Pune on Monday, Bhagwat also said there is a growing perception that everything in the society is going wrong. "However, for every negative aspect, there are 40 times more good and noble service activities taking place in the community. It is essential to spread awareness about these positive efforts because service is what fosters enduring trust in society," he said. Bhagwat cited the teachings of Ramakrishna Paramahansa about the "ripened I" and the "raw I" to make his point about ego. In every person, there is one 'almighty', which gives inspiration to serve the society, but there is ego as well, he

The BJP on Thursday had claimed a link between Rahul Gandhi and international forces, including an investigative media platform, trying to destabilise India and that the Congress leader was a "traitor of the highest order". Patra claimed that billionaire investor George Soros and some US-based agencies, investigative media platform Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), and Gandhi occupy three sides of a "dangerous" triangle trying to destabilise India and stoke public disaffection for a regime change. "I have no hesitation in saying he (Gandhi) is a traitor of the highest order," he ...
