The opposition Congress-led UDF Monday moved a no- confidence motion against the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left government in Kerala, raising a slew of allegations including the gold smuggling case.

The incident took place when Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan ushered Khan to the assembly hall for presenting the policy address
The Front, led by CPI (M), claimed that while 3 million people were expected to participate, nearly 6 million people participated in the protest.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also tweeted that the state's own bank would commence soon.
The UDF candidate T J Vinod won the Ernakulam seat by a margin of 3,750 votes defeating Manu Roy (LDF-IND).
Currently, domestic passengers pay Rs 306 as user development fee in BIAL, while it is at Rs 1,226 for international passengers
Earlier, the UDF sought to raise the issue of anomalies by way of an adjournment motion
