Fintech firm Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services has placed Rs 97 crore bet on consumer credit card and UPI-based payment solution provider Rivpe Technology with its 100 per cent acquisition, according to a regulatory filing.
Zaggle will acquire Rivpe for Rs 22 crore and invest Rs 75 crore in the latter's brand Rio.Money to support product enhancement and expansion of consumer payment offerings.
"We wish to inform you, the Board of Directors of Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Limited at its meeting held today...approved ...acquisition of 81,429 Equity Shares and 16,407 Compulsory Convertible Preference Shares for consideration up to Rs 22 crores from the existing shareholders of Rivpe Technology Private Limited (Rivpe), representing 100 per cent of issued and paid-up capital of Rivpe on a fully diluted basis," the filing said.
The transaction is expected to close in 120 days.

A team of officials from the US is expected to visit India next week for talks on the proposed bilateral trade agreement, sources said on Thursday.
The visit is crucial as India and the US are working to finalise the first tranche of the pact.
"The team is likely to come next week. Dates are being finalised, and discussions are on," said one of the sources.
This visit of the US officials would be the second after the imposition of a 25 per cent tariff and an additional 25 per cent penalty on Indian goods entering the American market for buying Russian crude oil.
Earlier, the team had visited on September 16.
On September 22, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal also led an official delegation to the US for trade talks.
He was accompanied by the then special secretary in the ministry, Rajesh Agrawal and other officials. Agrawal is now India's commerce secretary.
The USA's Chief Negotiator for the pact is Brendan Lynch.

Cyber security firm QuicHeal's enterprise arm Seqrite has detected over 265 million attacks across 8 million endpoints or installed bases of its technology in India, the company said on Thursday.
The report, "State of Malware In India" compiled by Seqrite Labs, found that Maharashtra, with 36.1 million threat detections, Gujarat (24.1 million), and Delhi (15.4 million) emerged as the most affected states, with Mumbai, New Delhi, and Kolkata identified as the top targeted cities.
"We operate from close to 80 lakh plus endpoints. And these 80 lakh endpoints are deployed not only across the breadth of our nation, but also across 76 other countries. Between October 2024 and September 2025, Seqrite Labs monitored more than 80 lakh endpoints and recorded 265.52 million detections," a company official said.
The official said that the data on attacks is based on endpoints deployed in India.
"These 265 million attacks QuickHeal and Seqrite were able to block. We were able to prevent those .

Healthcare industry body NATHEALTH has asked the government to increase public spending on healthcare to over 2.5 per cent of GDP with urgent action to tackle non-communicable diseases, including tax deductions of up to Rs 10,000 on individuals for preventive health check-ups.
In its pre-Budget recommendations to the government, NATHEALTH said it outlined a roadmap to strengthen healthcare delivery, foster innovation, and expand insurance and preventive coverage.
The recommendations call for a balanced mix of fiscal support, structural reforms, and public-private collaboration to build a robust, future-ready health system, it said in a statement.
In its recommendations, NATHEALTH asked the sector to be declared 'core infrastructure' and create a healthcare infrastructure fund of Rs 50,000 crore, saying currently there is limited access to long-term, lower-cost capital for hospitals and diagnostic networks.
