How to install and remove Gmail add-ons?

What is Gmail

Gmail is a free email service offered by Google. Gmail is one of the most popular email services with more than 1.5 billion users globally. Gmail first started in April 2004 in beta version and offered 1 gigabyte storage space. Now, it offers a storage space of 15 gigabytes. Gmail can be accessed through website, Mobile and third-party apps.


What are Gmail add-ons

Gmail add-ons enhance the user experience. Add-ons allow users to complete multiple tasks in the same tab without leaving the Gmail mailbox. These add-ons help in accomplishing tasks faster without opening other websites or applications.                
 
Here is how you can install Gmail add-ons and remove them from your system.
 

How to install Gmail add-ons

1.       On your computer, go to Gmail.com
2.       Login to your account. Sign up if you don’t have an account
3.       In the top right corner, click on Settings
4.       Click on “See all settings”
5.       Click on Add-ons
6.       Click on Manage
7.       Search the add-ons you want to install. Click on Install and then Continue button to confirm installation
8.       Choose your account and follow the on-screen instructions
9.       Once the add-on is installed, it will appear on the Gmail sidebar
 

How to uninstall add-ons

1.       Login to your Gmail account
2.       Go to settings in the top right corner
3.       Click on settings
4.       Click See all settings
5.       Go to add-ons
6.       Click on manage
7.       Select the add-ons you wish to remove
8.       Click on uninstall and then Uninstall App button to confirm removal
