BEL net profit rises 28% to Rs 68 crore

Bharat Electronics has reported that its net profit has increased by 28 per cent to Rs 68.17 crore for the third quarter ended December 2003 as against Rs 53.10 crore for the previous corresponding quarter.

The company's total income has gone up by 25 per cent to Rs 606.86 crore from the earlier Rs 482.59 crore. The EPS too has appreciated to Rs 8.52 as against Rs 6.64 for the corresponding previous quarter.
