The firm, which provides end-to-end solution for establishing a high school right from curriculum to teacher recruitment and campus design, has set up a fourth school under Open Minds and the first on the outskirts of the city in partnership with Hyderabad-based infrastructure player DSR Group.
Birla Edutech chief executive officer Vijay Mishra said their education endeavour was aimed at bringing international standards in education for the benefit of Indian children. Responding to a question, he said the firm was planning to establish 10 schools in the current year and another 50 in the next 3 years.
Of these, the company would set up 10 schools under its own management and the remaining institutions through franchise partnerships, according to him. Each school requires an investment in the range of Rs 35-50 crore, he said.
