Dabur India Ltd today declared a significant downsizing of its board of directors. The company has reduced the strength of its board from 16 to 10.
The representation of the Burman family on the Dabur India board has come down from six to four. A C Burman, who was chairman emeritus of the company, and his cousin, Sidhartha Burman, have stepped down from the board. The other directors to have stepped down include Air Chief Marshal (Retd) N C Suri, Ashok Goenka, Vijay Karan and S M Dutta.
