Gujarat Narmada Valley Q2 net up 5.4% to Rs 64 cr

State-owned Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertiliser Company today reported a 5.4 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 63.96 crore for the quarter ended on September 30, 2010.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 60.66 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

During the quarter under consideration, the company's net income rose to Rs 801.8 crore as against Rs 766.23 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
