Pharma major Pfizer today said its promoter Pfizer Investments Netherlands BV along with its US-based parent company Pfizer Inc has raised its stake in the firm to 70.75 per cent through an open offer.
The two entities jointly have raised stake in the drug maker to 70.75 per cent from 41.23 per cent earlier, Pfizer said in a disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company did not disclose any financial detail of the deal.
Shares of Pfizer were transfered on April 9, the firm said. The open offer had closed on July 4, 2009.
Shares of Pfizer today closed at Rs 1,041.45, up by 1.27 per cent on the BSE.
