Sam Paul, South India Head, Toni & Guy and Essensuals Salon, and partner The D'Montes from Chennai, said that the brand in South India has its major presence in Tamil Nadu. At present, it has 13 CoCo salons and 38 franchisee owned franchisee operated Essensuals Salon.
While Essensuals brand caters to customers in the mass segment with a price range of Rs 150-1500 for a hairstyling, Toni & Guy will see a higher income customers offering services in the price range of Rs 400-2,000 for hairstyling. For Essensuals, the investment would be around Rs 50-60 lakh a salon, while for Toni & Guy, it wold be around Rs 70-80 lakh, he added.
