Hyderabad-based Vivimed Labs Limited has recorded an 83.15% increase in net profit to Rs 22.29 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2012, as against Rs 12.17 crore during the corresponding quarter last year.
Net income from operations has more than doubled in the fourth quarter (grew by 109%) to Rs 251.96 crore during the quarter, from Rs 120.57 crore in the same period a year ago.
For the full year, the company's net profit rose 29.28% to Rs 63.13 crore from Rs 48.83 crore last year.
Net income for the year stood at Rs 670.99 crore, as against Rs 416.93 crore, registering a growth of 60.93%, according to a company press release.
