Wipro launches 'Chandrika Amritam'

| Addressing a press conference after launching the new product, Anil Chugh, vice president (sales), said that a few drops of the ayurevedic oil, containing a concentrate of 18 medicinal herbs added to water before taking bath, would refresh both mind and body. |
| According to him, the retail price of the soap and a 75-gm pack of oil was be Rs 13.50. The company, an FMCG wing of Wipro Limited, had an average annual growth of 25 percent during the last three years with a total turnover of Rs 603 crore during 2005-06. |
| The company had taken over the marketing of widely acclaimed Chandrika ayurvedic bath soap in 2004. It had re-launched Chandrika soap by adding more ayurvedic herbs in a new attractive packing. |
| WCCLL has introduced a host of FMCG products like talcum powder and shampoo apart from its most successful brand, Santoor bath soap. |
